Our 8-seat vehicle has genuine room for people and a boot full of golf bags and trolleys — no wedging drivers between someone’s knees. Everyone travels together, which is half the fun of a society day anyway.

Split a single fixed price across the fourball or the full society and it’s often less per head than fuel and everyone’s time — and there’s no meter ticking while you sit in the clubhouse a little longer than planned.
